Meet Melody...16week old 20lb happy girl!! Look at that beautiful smile on her face in all of the pictures:) I love the mixture of colors in her coat, so unique and beautiful!
Melody has beautiful eyeliner eyes, just like her mother!
She is a normal puppy delights in running and playing and chasing balls with total joy!
She has a sweet disposition and is a fun girl..hound mixes are the best dogs.
She has started her crate. house and leash training and is doing well. She loves sitting in the chair and relaxing in the evenings.
Melody, along with her siblings and parents were abandoned.
A neighbor noticed them and saw that no one was there and the dogs had no food or water. The temperature was 100 degrees or more. He brought them food and water daily until they were taken into foster care.

Their coats were dull an fuzzy from lack of good nutrition. Not now, Eukaneuba puppy food has done it's magic and they all have thick, shiny coats and are all so beautiful and sweet and can't wait to be picked up and hugged.
It is rare that we know either parent of dumped puppies, but with this litter we know both (or at least one of the father's). Our vet thinks the mother is a husky/heeler mix. The father is a pure bred mountain cur, one of his parents is a Ledbetter mountain cur out of Tenessee. I was able to talk to the original owner, he used to breed mountain curs and he kept one of the puppies, Ace. When he moved, the caretaker of his property kept Ace...then he abandoned Ace, the mother and all of the puppies.
Both Ace and Angelina were so gentle and loving with these puppies. Angelina and Ace both have wonderful, sweet dispositions...and so do their puppies! I am also fostering Angelina, the mother.she is beautiful and sweet and fun! She goes up and kisses the puppies from outside their kennel, she is a very loving mom.
