Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi my name is McKenzie, and my foster family calls me Mackie for short. I was rescued by a good Samaritan that found me ailing, skinny, anemic from fleas, and wandering without a home. The vet said a couple more days of that and I might not be here! The good people at WRNT took me in and it’s been a happy story from there. With good food and medical attention to my skin, I filled out, got over my anemia, and have been unstoppable ever since!
Play, play, play! I can’t believe I was ever scared of my foster parents and their Westies, but I’m over that now. I still get scared of new things, but with patience and kindness I’m gaining confidence every day. The vet says I’m probably a westie/schnauzer mix and almost two years old. My foster mom says I have very expressive eyes that will melt your heart, along with one ear that stands out more than the other when I’m excited which she says makes me look extra cute. I still have lots of puppy in me and like to chew on things, so I definitely need chew toys. From the minute I wake up, I am constantly playing chase and wrestling with my older foster buddies so I need a home with another playful dog. Because of my very sweet and affectionate nature, combined with my snuggly soft coat, my my foster family calls me “the beanie baby”. I’m the life of the party and will be greatly missed, but I know there is a home where I belong “furever” and can’t wait to meet my new family! Next week I get a little “snip” at the vets, along with my last shots and then I’ll be ready for adoption.
Love, McKenzie
