Meet Sophie! She is a 2 year old female Yorkie/Scottish Terrier mix. She weighs 9 lbs and has a soft silky jet black coat Sophie was rescued from the South LA animal shelter along with her daughter, Josie after the volunteers alerted us to these two wonderful girls.
Sophie has been one of the easiest fosters we have ever had in our rescue. She is quiet and very well behaved in the house. She is affectionate and loving with people and likes to follow her person around. She is a happy, content EASY dog to have around. She is smart and responsive to what you are asking her to do. It seems to me that Sophie once had a loving owner who cared for her. Her house manners are wonderful and she is very calm. She gets along with other dogs both big and small and her play style is sweet and gentle. She likes to play a little and then will lie down in the yard to relax and enjoy the cool grass. Sophie is housebroken and will wait until she is let out side to do her business. She sleeps quietly through the night and loves to share your pillow and snuggle up.
Sophie rides very well in the car and loves to go for walks. She is not a barker either. She would make a great addition to a family who already has another friendly dog or she would do great as an only dog for someone who can make her a part of their lives.
