My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hudson is a BEAUTIFUL BOY! He arrived on July 21st weighing in at 12 pounds. He is two years old. He is a friendly boy who is also very sweet! He rode in the car like a pro on the way to his foster home. He slept most of the way. He was so excited when we arrived. My cat walked up to him and he sniffed her and that was that. Hudson He was wagging his tail and I let him off leash in about 10 minutes. Shortly after arrival, he was given a bath. He has been bathed before for sure. Excellent in the tub. We will update this description as we get to know this adorable boy better. UPDATE: Hudson had an uneventful night. He slept all night long. This morning Hudson was anxious to go outside. He went to my front door to let me know. We need him to learn to go to the other door but.. he is smart and will learn which door we use. Hudson is curious about his surroundings. He is doing great so far. The couple times I corrected him, he responded instantly! He is a doll. As we get to know this sweet one better, we will update the description. UPDATE: Hudson had a busy night. He does not like thunder or lightening. He laid very close to me and was not a happy boy. Hudson would do well either in a house without any dogs or with dogs. He continues to be sweet. Hudson loves to play catch with a ball, he gets it and returns it to you. Hudson loves to have his cheeks rubbed and closes his eyes in comfort. This morning he did not want to go out in the rain but I went out with him and he came along. He has not had any mistakes so far and seems to be house trained. He continues to not give the cats a second look. UPDATE: He likes to run but is not hyper at all. He follows me from room to room and lays down next to me when I am stopped for any time. This morning he ran out my back door as I was leaving and stood there when I called him - I was afraid he would run off, he looked at me as if he wanted to come with me so I opened my car door and he jumped in. He has free roam of the home, except for the living room. UPDATE: Hudson has become quite the snuggle bug. He loves to out his head on you and you stop scratching him he nudges your hand with his head. He has given kisses too!! So exciting!! He now plays with the other dogs, eats with them and sleeps with us all. Hudson has a wonderful disposition and wants to please. If he attempts to do something he is not to do one quick correction and he is done. He looks at you and wants to see you pleased with his behavior. He loves to follow me around and lays down when I stop for any stretch of time. He likes to lay on the bed and rest as well. Hudson likes to stand in front of the fan and cool himself off, very silly. Hudson will make someone a wonderful loving pet. A dog that will be loyal and true. Whomever is lucky enough to adopt this sweet boy will have a friend forever. UPDATE: After a vet appointment on Tuesday night, we were advised that Hudson has a luxating patella in the rear right leg. He seems fine as he runs, jumps, fetches a ball, etc. We have him on an anti-inflammatory medication for one week to see if it helps. The vet feels that it may be aggravated due to transport. However, there are no promises that Hudson will not need a surgery to correct the knee. If you are interested in seeing additional photos, please friend Sheryl's Den on Facebook.  If you are interested in adopting, please complete and submit an application.
