My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Joanie first came to SCAR late 2010 she was at the local shelter and was never claimed and needed to get out. We took her into foster care and she was adopted about 4 months later. Unfortunately a year later we received a call from the local shelter saying they had picked her up. She was scared and literally just skin and bones. Her condition was so bad we didn't even recognize her. But boy did she recognize us and she was very happy. We took her home and nursed her back to health. She has been through obedience training, she is housetrained, crate trained and currently lives with other dogs. She uses a doggy door and is eager to please. She is very athletic and would do best with an active person or family with a secure yard. She is a little timid at first but warms up quickly. She weighs about 45lbs and is approximately 3 yrs old. She is probably a mix of german shepherd, miniature schnauzer and american staffordshire terrier (that is what the DNA test said).
