My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

SHREVEPORT/BOSSIER, LA., OR SURROUNDING AREA!
CATAHOULA / BASSETT... POSSIBLY DACHSHUND PUP... (female) – RESCUED FROM A PARK – NEEDS LOVING HOME ASAP! – APPROX 4-5 MONTHS OLD – SPAYING A CONDITION OF ADOPTION!
CONTACT: (913)734-7746 or (913)655-2724
We found this sweet little girl at Richard Fleming Park close to the Blanchard area. She didn't have a collar and had been hiding under a trash can for at least 2 days. I coaxed her out and brought her home. She let me give her a bath. She might have been a ladies dog. She seems to be potty trained and maybe kennel? She is just getting her adult molars and very playful. I have contacted several agencies but no one can take her and I can't keep her. I have 2 bigger boys that are hostile to her. Please help me find her home! I do not want to take her to the shelter. (913)734-7746 or (913)655-2724

There is a screening and/or application process to adopt me and my adoption fee is a suggested donation to NINNA’S ROAD TO RESCUE, a 501c3 non-profit organization, of $30 so that they can continue their Adoption Assistance Program for area pets in need and to help assure I go to a good home. Once you adopt me, PLEASE get me spayed/neutered to help control the HUGE overpopulation and euthanasia rate in this area. Robinson’s Rescue low-cost Spay/Neuter Clinic (Shreveport) offers special low-cost pricing for spaying and neutering. Call 318-221-0017 for your spay/neuter appointment ONLY, not about me! Also, be sure to keep me on a monthly heartworm preventive. Dogs get heartworms from mosquitoes and the only way to protect me is with a monthly preventive that you get from your vet!

If you need to rehome a pet and want your pet posted here and adoptapet.com, e-mail roadtorescue@bellsouth.net for more information on what we need to post your animal.

Please also consider donating to Ninna’s Road to Rescue. We are a 501c3 non-profit organization and your donation is tax deductible. All donations go towards our small dog breed facility and towards the continuance of our Adoption Assistance Program to assist pet owners in re-homing their pets. Please visit www.RoadtoRescueLA.org for donation information.
