Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Cavanaugh is a sweet, loving, playful, and ADORABLE Wire-haired Fox Terrier mixed with most likely Dachshund (due to his very long body). He is MUCH cuter in person, especially when his tongue is flapping out of his mouth! (like most dogs, he photographs very serious-like). Cavanaugh is one and a half years old, and weighs about 16 lbs. He is great with other dogs and his favorite thing is to play with the other dogs at the rescue. He walks well on the leash, rides well in the car, sits on command, and is not a digger or a barker (though he will alert if someone comes to the fence or if he sees an Opossum out back). Cavanaugh is quite potty-trained with proficient use of the doggie door (though potty reinforcement is required in any new environment). He loves toys and rawhide chews, and would be great at dog park. We have not officially tested him with cats or young children, but Cavanaugh is very people friendly, and we feel he would be fine with kids age 8+, or possibly, a dog savvy house cat that does not care about the entrance of the new dog. Cavanaugh would do best in a home where he has a yard to explore and another playful dog to play with, or, in a moderately active home where he can go on walks, to Dog Park, and have a role in the agenda of daily activities.
Cavanaugh is crate-trained and sleeps peacefully in the crate each night. He is a handsome and dashing dog in the looks department. He is neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, and micro-chipped. If you are interested in Cavanaugh please contact Angel’s Heart Dog Rescue at: adopt@angelsheartdogrescue.com or: 626-340-9316. E-mail is preferable. If you prefer to phone the rescue, please ensure that you have read the dog’s bio and have visited my website at: http://www.angelsheartdogrescue.com and gone to the Adoption Tab to read about the adoption process; thank you!
