Yoda is a 4-year-old male scruffy Terrier mix that is most likely wire-haired Jack Russell Terrier with possibly a bit of Corgi mixed in there. He was rescued from the Devore Animal Shelter on his last day. Though he looks larger in photos, he is only a 10 pound little guy. He is the perfect size for a lap dog, and he loves to snuggle, be scratched, and bond with his people. Unlike other terriers, Yoda is a mellow dog. He likes to follow you from room to room and gets excited for treats, but is not demanding or annoying. Yoda is a very easy dog that comes with no challenges or issues. He is a quiet, well-mannered dog who does not lift his leg in the house, and is completely potty-trained (though potty reinforcement is required in a new environment).
Yoda likes to chew on treats. It is believed that no one ever taught him to walk with a leash, so he is now learning, though he prefers to stop and smell the roses. He gets along well with the other dogs in his foster home and would probably be okay with cats. Kids would be okay, especially if they like to snuggle and read a book with him. He is not much of a barker, except he will chime in if other dogs are barking. His favorite thing is to hang out with his people as they cook, work on the computer, or garden.
Yoda is neutered, de-wormed, vaccinated including rabies, and micro-chipped. He is crate-trained and sleeps quietly in his crate every night.
