My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mike is a very sweet and shy, six-year-old, 40-pound, male brindle Shar Pei/Boston Terrier (Shar-Bo) looking for a loving guardian. Mike loves playing with other dogs (best with dogs over 25 pounds). He regularly attends doggie daycare and is also good with children. He is housebroken, knows sit and takes treats gently from your fingers. Mike lived with a family where he loved the mom and kids, but the dad regularly beat and pepper-sprayed him. So, it’s no surprise, Mike is reluctant to trust men but has never been aggressive. Mike is healthy, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. Mike’s adoption fee of $250 goes towards the rescued dogs of the We Luv Paws Shar Pei Rescue Group. He is currently being fostered in Plano, Illinois.
