My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Jasper and his sisters were born in a shelter on March 8, 2012. As the mom was considered a stray, the shelter had to hold the little family for a week. We feared for the safety and health of the puppies but all was well and we were so happy to take them into rescue. We were told that they mom, Gemma, was a maltipoo. One of the puppies is black so we thought that DNA testing was in order. Believe it or not, on the maternal and paternal side, they came out as Maltese/Schnauzer mixes. I can see the schnauzer-ness in their faces but they are all small. Their mom weighs under 10 pounds and I expect that all of the puppies will, too.Right now, at 10 weeks, Jasper weighs 3 pounds, 5 ounces. Jasper is just a little doll baby. He's playful and sweet. He's learning that there is a special place to potty. He's pure white and pure precious! Jasper is neutered, up to date on all shots, microchipped and on heartworm/flea preventative. His adoption fee is $400. When he's 16 weeks old, he'll be ready for his rabies shot - we'll cover that, too, if you bring him to our vet.
