My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gabriel is a very cute long-haired dachshund / cocker spaniel? mix boy weighing about 15 lbs, and 1 year old. He LOVES other dogs and would love to find a home with a playmate. He has a higher energy level and is very silly. He is nervous around strangers but warms up once he realizes he can trust someone new. He would love to find a home that can spend the time training and socializing him so he does not have this fear of strangers/new people. He is VERY affectionate with those he knows. He would do best in a home that had relatively low traffic (new people coming in constantly), until he can learn that not all new people are scary. :)

Gabriel has been examined by a vet, neutered, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines. He has also been fecal tested (and dewormed if needed) and heartworm tested. An adoption application is required via email prior to meeting any Hope 4 Paws dog in its foster home. In most cases, breeds stated in the posting are merely our best educated guess as we do not know the history of many dogs that come into the rescue.
