THIS IS WENDELL....one of the sweetest little 12 lb, tri colored gray/tan/brown, 1.5 yr old Lhasa Poodles we have ever had! We got a call from the South Central shelter about this little boy who likely was hit by a car and was supposed to have a broken pelvis. Well, he had a broken pelvis...AND a broken leg!! This little sweetheart never really complained, but definitely could not walk! Wendell did not enjoy having the cast on his leg....and once it was removed, he was a mellow, happy boy! This little man definitely likes to be with his person, so the best home for him would be one where his family spends a lot of time with him. He loves to give you kisses of appreciation, play with his toys, snuggle and cuddle with you and play with other dogs....what more could a dog want from life!? He is very gentle and easy going... but he still has that "puppy" in him -- so he will make you a better housekeeper! Hide the socks, shoes, toilet paper....and replace with chew toys and bones! Wendell would be great with kids over 5 yrs old... who will remember to close the doors!! He's good in the car, on a leash and with everyone and everything! We even think he would be OK with cats! Another dog would be optimal for him....and would provide the perfect environment for him....and a yard!! That will help with his potty training...which we are working on! Wendell will be available for adoption first week in May....as he is still recovering from his injuries... but can be seen by appointment prior to then. Wendell is a winner...he will make your house a home!!
Our website is updated daily. Please do not apply for this dog unless your home fits the specified criteria. All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, groomed, vet checked, dewormed, deflea'd and come with a leash, collar and ID tag!

First Sunday of the month, we hold our adoption events at The Healthy Spot West Hollywood (8525 Santa Moinca Blvd, West Hollywood, 90069) from 11am-3pm. Most every other Sunday, unless we are doing a special event, we are at My Pet Naturally (12001 W. Pico Blvd., West LA 90064) from 10:30a-3pm. You can see this, and many more, adorable pups at this weekly event! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!!! And don't forget to check out our
