My story

Benji's adoption fee is $325.

This is Benji - a 6 month old Terrier/Pug that is neutered, micro chipped, current on vaccinations and he currently weighs 12.5 lbs. Benji tries so hard to please - it seems that he is just trying to say “Thank you for loving me”. Benji’s a very smart little fellow that learns fast, as he knows commands “sit, stay, no, bed time, in bed, nice” and more. He has no food aggression at all and sits before getting his food.

Benji would make a great family addition for a home that has another mature, active dog for company and play; he would love a home with a fenced in yard to run and play. He is still in the process of training outside for potty and is doing great, but if and when needed will use pee-pads. He is crated at night, and doing well learning to walk on a leash.

Benji has shown his skills for being a great dog for agility training; he seems to flow when he jumps up on the bed or couch and when playing catch. This little guy needs ongoing training with someone who is knowledgeable with young dogs and has the patience and love needed to do this, and he would also benefit from formal training classes.
