My story

What could possibly be cuter than a Hound puppy? How about 6 of them! Merlin is one of 6 adorable Basset Hound mix puppies available for adoption in Chicago. These adorable, friendly and happy little guys and gals are 9 weeks old (as of 3/15/12) and will be ready to leave for their new homes on 3/22/12. Merlin loves attention and will be a great companion for almost any family with the time for a young puppy. He is a typical puppy, active, happy and social. Merlin and his littermates will be spayed/neutered and microchipped before leaving for their new families. They will also receive age appropriate vaccines, and will have had at least one round of deworming.


• Merlin’s adoption donation is $350. This donation helps to cover his neuter, initial vaccines, initial worming and microchip. Pal's Place relies solely on donations to care for the pets in our care. Your donation also helps save other animals like Merlin from euthanasia.

• All of our dogs are in foster homes are can be seen BY APPOINTMENT ONLY, after an approved application has been received. Email is the preferred method of contact and is the quickest way to receive a response. We cannot place holds on our dogs, please do not contact us until you are prepared to adopt.
