My story

Meet Henry!

Henry is a 2 year old Husky mix. He was found so starved that he could hardly stand and his neck has a permanent mark around it from a collar but he has completely won the hearts of his rescuers. Henry is very people oriented, a snuggler, and loves to just be close. He has a little toothy grin that he gives when happy or if he thinks he is being chastised. He seems to get along with other dogs, but hasn't really settled into his foster home yet. Henry does well on the leash, only pulling sometimes and he likes to sniff a lot! He is about 40 pounds now, but still needs to gain a few more pounds. Henry will be a great companion once he settles into his new home.

*Update* Henry now weighs 54lbs. He gets along well with his foster family, people, and dogs. He is not so confident at the dog park, but seems to be gaining self esteem. He listens well and just wants to be with someone. He does stay in his kennel when left alone and does fine. Henry is a happy dog and will adjust well once he knows a person or dog.
