Oreo is an utterly adorable, sweet, loving, and timid, six-year-old, nine-pound, female Malti-Poo (Maltese/Poodle hybrid) looking for a loving guardian. Oreo was rescued from a puppy mill where she had few positive experiences with people during her first six years of life. It took her foster mom an entire month before she was able to get a collar and leash on her. She is wary, but very sweet when given the chance to be a loving companion. She is indifferent to other dogs and cats, but prefers dogs that do not get in her personal space (she just growls). She adores her foster mom and wants nothing more than to be with her snuggling and cuddling in her lap. Oreo is crate-trained, and housebroken when kept to a routine. She’s calm and quiet, and when she loves you, her tail is happily wagging just to be around you. Because children would need to be constantly mindful of her timidity, she would do best in a home with adults and teens. She does have a fast-growing coat and needs a hair cut every couple of months. Oreo is very healthy, spayed, de-wormed, up-to-date on vaccines, heartworm-tested, and on preventative. She even had a dental cleaning. Her adoption fee of $250 benefits rescued pets.
