My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Yip Yip! That means hello in doggie speak. My name is Max and I am one of the three puppies at Angel C's house. My brother is Milo and my baby sister is Molly. She is a pain... aren't all little sisters? She may be cute but cuteness only goes so far in life. She yelps if she thinks someone is going to step on her. Probably cause she only weighs about 4 pounds. I guess I would yelp too.

I am a drop dead handsome little fellow. I am part Brussels Griffon and part Cairn Terrier. Angel C says I am the sweetest one. I am very inquisitve and really love to be around people and other dogs. I am smart and have been working hard on my puppy training. I weigh about 7 or 8 pounds right now and will probably top the scales at around 11-12 pounds when grown.

I am very friendly and wag my whole body when I get excited. I am working on my potty training and every day, I get a bit better. It is a lot to learn. Angel C loves taking care of the puppies and says that by the time I get adopted, I will be a big boy in my own mind! She loves us so much, gives us great food and also give us lots of kisses and scratches. Being in foster care with an Ahimsa Angel is the best.

The Brussels Griffon is a toy breed that developed in the streets of Brussels where they hunted rats. Small, with highly expressive faces, the Brussels Griffon looks like a fragile little “purse dog,” but even though they fit nicely in a hand bag, they are sturdy and fearless, boasting the ability to climb like a cat. They enjoy being the center of attention and are often described by owners as hams and clowns. They get along fine with kids and other household pets, as long as they are raised together.

Everyone remembers Toto from the movie The Wizard of Oz. Spunky, curious, fearless, and loyal, little Toto went everywhere with Dorothy and helped her stop the Wicked Witch of the West and even exposed the Wizard as simply a man behind a curtain. Most Cairn Terriers are exactly like Toto – loyal to their family, curious and brave. They are excellent companions for families of all shapes and sizes and can even be useful vermin exterminators on farms.

So see, I am a great dog as I am both Brussels Griffon and Cairn Terrier. So you need to come and see me very soon. Did you find your car keys? Please fill out the application and ask for Max. You won't be disappointed. Hugs and puppy kisses, Max
