Here's what the humans have to say about me:
We would like to explain that if you are looking for a perfect dog, they are rarely found in rescue. Our dogs often have unknown histories and we do our very best to evaluate each dog with kids, cats, and other dogs as well as determine how they behave in a home. It is important to understand that we have some specific criteria for each dog based on their backgrounds and input from their foster families. The purpose of these criteria is to better match each dog with an appropriate family. While a certain dog might appeal to you based on breed, size, gender or appearance, you may not match the listed criteria. Please understand that we are not trying to make adoption difficult—we are trying to make each adoption successful for the dog and the new family.

If you have children, we suggest that prior to applying for a dog, you view the website http://www.livingwithkidsanddogs.com. The information is excellent and can help you determine which dog would be right for your family.
Stanley is a beautiful min pin/pomeranian mix youngster whose family couldn't care for him any longer. We do know his breed mix and that he is about 10 months old and weighs 16 pounds fully grown. Stanley has a happy and very playful personality and is quite the acrobat. If you're looking for an agility partner or a loyal family dog, come meet this guy with springs in his legs! Stanley is an active little boy who likes to play hard and sleep hard. He loves playing with the other dogs in the foster home, however, after a while of playing he likes to curl up in his bed or on his foster mom's lap for a long nap. He loves to have his little cold nose buried in the bed or in his foster mom's shirt and is a great cuddler! Stanley loves to play with any stuffed animal, chew toy or tennis ball. He runs and chases the ball and playfully barks when he gets excited or to get someone to play with him. Stanley enjoys going on long walks with his foster family. He does much better with teens and adults as he is playfully mouthy with kids. He loves dogs of any size and is safe with dog-saavy cats. He is house trained on a schedule and is crate trained. He sleeps right through the night curled up at the end the bed, or will also sleep contently in a kennel. Stanley is with a 501c3 non profit rescue. His $300 adoption fee is to cover his neuter, heartworm pill, immunizations, wormings, and HomeAgain microchip.
To ensure that this dog thrives in his new home and that the adoption works out for the dog and your family, these are the requirements for adoption. These criteria are not negotiable. If you do not meet these criteria, please choose another dog that will work out better for your family.
