Hi, my name is Malibu! I am an older Siberian Husky; my people decided to move and they left me behind. I have been very upset about this. I don’t understand how family could do this to me! Maybe they weren’t family after all. What I really need is a quiet, peaceful home to call my own, one with no distractions from children or from other overly active dogs. I am afraid and become defensive when they come near me, because my back legs hurt a bit. The nice people in rescue have taken me in and I am at a nice boarding facility temporarily. My rescue friends are doing their best to find a place for me. I love to go for walks, and to ride in the car. Maybe I could just hang out under a shady tree in your back yard? Sorry, you better not expect me to get along with a cat; even though I’m not a spring chicken, I still have enough steam to chase a cat! I am neutered and up to date on all my shots, and will be micro-chipped when I go home with you. If I wink my baby-blues at you, will you consider taking me home?
