My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Cody and his very best buddy, Clancy, were found wandering as strays. They were taken in by an animal control facility and the owners were contacted, but didn't want to pay the fine, so surrendered them to the pound. How anyone could want to give up these two incredibly sweet dogs is beyond us. They are adorable and extremely well-behaved! Both are affectionate and respond so well to attention from people.

Cody and Clancy are "Velcro" dogs. Big Clancy loves to lick and mother little Cody, and Cody loves to snuggle and cuddle with his big pal. We are adopting out these two fellows as a "bonded pair." If you see them together your heart swells. They truly love each other and take great comfort from each others company.

Cody can usually be found standing under Clancy, or on his hind legs, using Clancy as a brace! He loves to be held and cuddled, and gets along with everyone beautifully.

Clancy is so sweet and gentle and loves people. He loves a lot of attention, enjoys being petted, and will follow you around. He likes small dogs and will watch over them. He is good with "sit," "down," and will shake your hand. He is an awesome dog!

Who ever adopts these two may will be very amazed with them! Clancy and Cody are like peas in a pod (though a bit mismatched is size)! Both are so well-behaved and friendly.

The adoption fee of $165 for the bonded pair includes neuter, vaccines, deworming, vet exam and microchips. Clancy tested positive for heartworm and is undergoing treatment, which is also included in the adoption fee. He will be finished treatment around the end of January, 2012. Applications are being taken now for these two sweeties.
