My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Poor little Mimi was dumped on some deserted back road. Thrown away like a piece of trash. Why? Who knows. Mimi is a great little dog. The county she came from does not have a shelter. She was found and turned into a rescue group who looked after her until she arrived here with us. Thrown away is not what she deserved. She is a good girl! Mimi is just a tiny girl. She is approx. 8 pounds 9 oz. big. Prior to arrival we were told that this little girl is a doll, a constant companion, sweet-heart! UPDATE: Mimi is estimated to be 2 to 3 years old. Her first night with her foster mom, she slept well through the night snuggled in bed. Mimi walks great on a leash and rides in the car very well. She gets along with all people...no problems with kids at all. Mimi is fostered with two dogs. The first night she just stayed to herself. Now, she is getting closer and closer to the dogs. She just takes her time. She has never growled or showed fear, she just seems to be trying to figure out where she is. No food or any other type of aggression with this girl. She is doing great! She takes treats with a gentle mouth and does not care if you pull the treat away. She is happy and showing her playful side now. Mimi has had no accidents in the house, she continues to go outside very well. Mimi is fully vetted and is ready for her forever home. UPDATE: Mimi is a dog that everyone would want to have. She is well behaved and calm. She will play as long as you want to. If you are busy, she will just play on her own with her toys. She is now playing with the dogs in the foster home too. She is a great dog! No question about it. She greets with a soft kiss. She explores new places like a normal dog would. Mimi loves people too. She continues to go outside for potty breaks. She is housebroken. She has not had the need for a crate because she is well behaved. She is spayed, up to date with shots, rabie shot, dewormed, heart-worm tested etc. She is a healthy young dog. All medical information will be discussed with you upon receipt of an approved application. If you are interested in adopting this tiny little one, please complete and submit an application for adoption. We will be happy to help you.

p>This animal is currently fostered in a private home. Our rescue is 100% foster home based. We do not have a shelter or kennel. They are cared for by a loving family until adopted. Each pup has had their first vet exam, a shot, and de-worming, etc We make sure they have no fleas prior to going into our foster homes. They are fostered out of the shelter at least two weeks or more prior to adopting to monitor health. We take their care seriously!

Please note that the adoption appointments will be scheduled after an application is approved. We will contact you and arrange for you to meet the dog. Once adopted, feel free to change the dog's name. You do not have to keep the name listed in this post.

#####PLEASE BE SURE YOUR APPLICATION IS COMPLETE OR IT WILL NOT BE PROCESSED. PLEASE BE SURE TO LIST THE NAME AND NUMBER OF THE VET'S OFFICE THAT CARED FOR YOUR PRIOR OR CURRENT PET. #####

IF YOU ADOPT a pup and live in the State of New Jersey we do have low cost spaying and neutering at very affordable prices. Kindly inquire upon an approved application. We also have an affordable program for out of state adopters.

***** If you're interested in fostering we could always use the help to save more animals. A crate, food, and medical care are provided. The animals are picked up in West Milford, NJ and brought back here for adoption. The time commitment is two to two and a half weeks. Please email letting us know what town you live in and we will forward information to you. *****
