Boston is an 8-month-old puppy born to a young female Elkhound who was dropped off at a pound just before giving birth! The father of the puppies is unknown but appears to have some Brittany and Border Collie which he contributed to her gene pool. She and her seven siblings were born on 02/06/2011. Boston is spayed, has had all her puppy shots, her Rabies shot, and is heartworm negative and on prevention. These puppies are shy when meeting new people and really need to have a home where they can get a lot of individual attention. Boston is currently in a foster home in Bay City and receiving excellent care and going through Agility, Rally and Flyball training. She will not be available to adopt until the Spring and we will want her to go to a home that intends to continue these kinds of activities with her. This is a very high energy girl and needs and outlet for her energy.
Click here for videos of them at the class in August. They are smart and willing to learn. New situations tend to stress them and they need a diet which is easy on their tummies. They are currently on a chicken and oatmeal kibble designed for sensitive stomachs.
This dog is not in the Closer to Home Animal Advocates program. We are listing this dog as a courtesy for the
