Teddy is an 8-month-old puppy born to a young female Elkhound who was dropped off at a pound just before giving birth! The father of the puppies is an unknown mix but appears to have some Labrador Retriever and maybe even some Border Collie which he contributed to Teddy's gene pool. He and his seven siblings were born on 02/06/2011. Teddy is neutered, has had all his puppy shots, his Rabies shot, and is heartworm negative and on prevention. These puppies are shy when meeting new people and really need to have a home where they can get a lot of individual attention. They are currently in a boarding kennel and have attended some obedience classes.
Click here for videos of them at the class in August. They are smart and willing to learn. New situations tend to stress them and they need a diet which is easy on their tummies. They are currently on a chicken and oatmeal kibble designed for sensitive stomachs.
This dog is not in the Closer to Home Animal Advocates program. We are listing this dog as a courtesy for the
