COURTESY POST
10/24/11: THIS POOR GIRL HAS BEEN AT THE SHELTER OVER A YEAR NOW...when is it HER CHANCE??? SHe is wonderful. She has gone on "field trips" to one of her caregiver's home and is absolutely wonderful with her doggies. She uses the doggy door and is just a fantastic girl. Sadie is now a little over 1 1/2 years old. Living at the shelter for so long has bothered her legs/hips. The vet has her on a diet to make it easier on her body but what she really needs is a comfy home. This is NOT a sanctuary or no-kill shelter, however, the ladies that work her absolutely adore Sadie and are doing everything they can to "keep her". They are very saddened that no one has come for her in over a year... HELP!!! Sadie needs an angel! She is yet another victim of the "Black Dog Syndrome". Black Dog Syndrome is a phenomenon that is well known to shelter workers and rescue organizations across the nation. Black dogs...
