My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Wally! He's a little odd looking but his personality makes up for it. He looks like a lab or a golden from the body up. However, he has basset legs. If he is lying down, you would think he's a typical lab/golden. Wally was found abandoned, wandering all alone by the Ohoopee River in Georgia. He was so scared, covered in ticks, and starving! After some much needed food, medical attention, and lots of love, his true personality began to shine. Wally suffered some injuries during his time he was a stray. As you can see from the picture, one of his front legs is bent. This injury has long since healed, and causes him no discomfort. He runs and jumps just fine. It appears that he also has an old eye injury. Not sure if he has trouble seeing or not. He is just so sweet. He has a beautiful clean, soft and shiny coat. He is used to being an "outside" dog. Whats that??? He deserves the warmth and comfort of a nice bed near the fire with his family. Inside the house of course. He is so sweet, and very affectionate. He gets along great with other dogs and cats, and is very good around children. Wally is about 3 years old and weighs 45 low to the ground pounds.
