My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gretel is a 6-month old pup who looks like a perfect honey colored Chow with maybe a hint of American Eskimo dog. (American Eskimo dogs are not always white -- sometimes they are cream color and that is what Gretel looks like -- a perfect cream colored pup!) She is absolutely the prettiest girl with her champagne coat and very lady-like stance. Gretel could also have some keeshound in her.

She is a charming, gentle, medium sized dog who isn’t a barker at all. In fact, she is amazingly well behaved for being such a young puppy!

Gretel is house trained and loving; she is mellow and calm; and is a joy around children, which is common for American Eskimo dogs.

She is also really smart – she seems to pick up good behavior tips naturally!

Gretel was a stray in Ensenada, where she obviously was someone’s pampered pet until she was abandoned.

She is a healthy, hearty and happy puppy with a gentle temperament.

She is spayed, up to date on all of her shots, and ready for her forever home. Her adoption covers everything – her spay, all of her shots including rabies and bordatella, and whatever else she needs to be happy, healthy family buddy.

I think Gretel will be an “easy keeper,” which means she won’t cause you any problems whatsoever. She adapted to her foster homes wonderfully in only a couple days – she comes when she is called, doesn’t bark or wander, and just loves to be with you.

Oh – and she has a lovely smile! I am not sure how much she weighs, but she is a medium- size dog with the most luxurious blond coat!
