Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Name: Finnegan O'Boston
Breed: Boston Terrier/Stffie mix
Gender: Male
Age: 3
Personality: We were asked by a San Diego Shelter to pick up a sweet Boston who had some hair loss on his hind end due to a severe flea infestation. Upon arriving I was enveloped with kisses from sweet Finnegan who could not wait to jump into the car and start his new life. Finnegan has been neutered now, had all of his shots updated, had a good and much needed flea bath and soothing medicated spary to his itchy back and he is as happy as a clam. Negative for heartworm, and fecal negative except for tape worms, which have now been treated, he is happy and wiggly and loves to have his ears rubbed. Finnegan is a bit like the bull in the china shop who can't wait to be in the middle of everything and loves to sit on your lap or beside you on the couch. Finnegan loves to find a sunny spot near the window and take a good sunbath. He gets along just with a very mellow and quiet dog and will try to play with my female but plays rough and becomes over exuberant easily so me might do best as an only dog. However if he feel threatened in any way he will become very aggitated and so leash walking needs to be done with loving control and avoid loose dogs or dog parks. He is a good leash walker and is learning to stay near your left side on his lead, following the commands for "wait" and "leave it" for other dogs approaching . He is learning sit, and is working well on "wait" to stop his bolting out a door. He loves a car ride and as soon as he jumps in he settles right down in a seat and does not move. We do not have a doggy door, and he has only had one accident so far in my house. He is a very big boy at 32 pounds. But it is really 32 pounds of love waiting for his new home. I crate Finnegan when I leave my house and although he will bark for a moment, he quickly quiets down and lays down on his blanket to wait for my return. He loves to play fetch and run around in the back yard trying to catch bees and watching birds.
Issues: Prefers a home with his person home most of the time and needs to be only dog.
