Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Birthdate: 4/18/11
Gender: Female, spayed
Breed: Australian Shepherd/English Spaniel mix
Siblings: Abigail, Coco
Coco might look like a dog and sound like a dog, but in her heart, she’s a little kitty cat. At least that’s what she’s been telling the cats at the shelter ever since she moved into their room.
When Coco first came to the shelter with her sister, Abigail, they started out in the dog room and had great fun. But after Abigail was adopted, we needed their spot for another dog and had to move Coco into the cat room.
Luckily, our cats are all incredibly dog-friendly, and Coco turned out to be extremely cat friendly. Now when we visit the cats, we often find a few kitty friends in Coco’s exercise pen, playing ball with her or catching a nap. She’s incredibly gentle with them.
Don’t miss her video!
But don’t think for a second that Coco doesn’t like other dogs. She LOVES other dogs. Big dogs, small dogs, she just loves to play.
Coco has also been very well socialized with children of all ages. Of course, they have to like doggy kisses, because Coco has lots and lots of doggy kisses to give.
We believe Coco is an Australian Shepherd/English Spaniel mix. Based on her current size and age, we’re expecting her to be roughly 40–50 pounds as an adult, so potential adopters should plan on a medium-sized dog.
Coco is currently paper trained but not housebroken, so expect some accidents in the beginning while she gets the hang of this whole potty-training thing. We recommend crate training as the easiest way to housebreak and would be happy to give you some tips.
Coco has already been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed and flea treated, so she is ready to join your family. You can meet her at the shelter any time during adoption hours, Thursday through Sunday 5 to 8pm, or call 330–397–8270 to schedule an appt to meet her at another time or on another day.
