My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kate is absolutely stunning, she was dumped on the side of a road in Tennessee along with her sister. A home owner found them and took them in and then contacted our rescue. They were scared and very thin but since they've been with our wonderful foster mom they have come around 180 degrees. They have been checked out by a vet and have been dewormed. Now they are gaining weight and their coats are all shiny and healthy. Kate and Alley are very playful and love the attention they are getting. They are approximately 4 months old and will probably top out at around 50 lbs. Mountain Curs are wonderful family dogs; they are primarily bred for treeing and hunting small prey. They are in the working class so they love an active life-style. Smart, friendly and loyal a Mountain Cur mixed with a Boxer...well, you just couldn't ask for a better mix.

All of our animals are examined by a veterinarian, are spayed/neutered, microchipped, given age appropriate vaccinations, dewormed, heartworm tested if over five months and treated if necessary. Vet references are required and prior to adoption approval a home visit will be conducted.
