Licorice - 4 year old male Giant Schnauzer/Rottie mix. At around 80 lbs, Licorice has a magnificent bear-like appearance. He is soft-coated, non-shedding with natural ears and tail. Licorice is an exceptionally intelligent, playful and loving dog with a special affinity for female labs. He has a natural protective instinct, which before undergoing an intensive, prolonged training program, had become inappropriate stranger aggression. At this point, we believe the perfect home for Licorice would include children over 6, a female lab, and dominant adults experienced with large dogs and willing to follow the strict guidelines and firm discipline set forth by his trainer. Anyone interested in adopting Licorice will be required to meet with both Licorice and the trainer for a consult. Licorice is healthy, neutered and current on all vaccines.
