Every day is a great day with Callie. This beautiful girl is poetry in motion – she is graceful, long-legged, and athletic - such fun to watch as she is running and playing. Callie is a mixed breed – we think she has some Plott hound, terrier with perhaps Great Dane or Pointer (but not the size of a Great Dane) thrown in for good measure! She weighs 52 pounds and could still stand to add a few more pounds; she was very thin when she came into our rescue. She has perfect house manners and is crate-trained. Callie's very favorite summer toy is the garden hose– you can entertain her endlessly as she bites at the spray and delights in jumping through the water. She loves the shower too! She enjoys her chew toys, chasing balls and sitting in the sunshine. Callie is between 3 and 4 and still has a lot of puppy energy and enthusiasm. She is always ready for a ride in the car and is a terrific passenger. She wants to be close to her people but is great about going into her house/crate. Callie was dumped at a Spokane shelter by her prior owners and we are so glad she’s in our rescue now and ready for her loving, forever home. She is good with basic commands, come, sit, kennel up and she responds very well to training. Callie is spayed, micro-chipped and up-to-date on all her shots.
