You may meet and apply to adopt Rio at our ADOPTION EVENT on SUNDAY, JUNE 26th from 12 Noon - 3:00 at PETCO in NEWPORT BEACH.

Rio is an 8 week old girl puppy. She and her siblings were born at the shelter and were rescued shortly thereafter. They have been in a foster home with their mom ever since and are very healthy. Rio is fiesty and fun, a real party girl. She likes nothing better than to get in on the fun, wrestle around and get silly. Her game of choice right now is to grab a shoelace (while the shoe is still on your foot) and tug while making a ridiculous and very funny puppy growl. Rio is energetic and playful and will be great for an active family or a family with another dog. She will thrive in an environment where she can get adequate exercise and be mentally stimulated. Rio is smart and should learn basic commands very easily. She would probably excel at canine sports such as dog agility. She should grow to about 15-20 pounds. Rio is paper / puppy-pad trained and well on her way to learning good potty habits. All puppies will be spayed and neutered prior to going home.

Rio's adoption donation is $400. She will be SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.
