Here's what the humans have to say about me:
One year old Chumley was next on the Put to Sleep list at a high kill shelter. We didn't really have room for him but he was too adorable to let die.
He was listed as a dachshund/terrier mix and looks a lot like a Cairn Terrier with floppy doxie ears. Others have guessed wirehair doxie and jack russell mix . He's a little guy, weighing only 11 lbs and has a classic wirehair coat.
Chums is doing great with all of the other dogs in his foster home. He loves to chase the ball and play with stuffed toys. We've introduced him to the concept of walks which he loves. We've also crate trained him ( which he is less fond of. ) So far, he has not barked once. Chumley is
afraid of cats but we think he could learn to live with them.
He was clearly a backyard dog before arriving in rescue and he will happily hang out in the backyard for a few hours. He eagerly and nicely greets strangers and is up for any adventure.
If you love terriers or wirehair doxies, this boy is for you!!
