Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tall, handsome, goofball with a big heart looking for his special someone...
Eugene, is a very handsome, wirehaired mixed breed. He is only two years old and was surrendered by adoptive family because of issues with the children in the home. We have not had any issues with him and the volunteers absolutely adore this boy so this is something that can (and should be) easily corrected with positive reinforcement. Although not much is known about his puppyhood, he is very friendly and thoroughly enjoys his playtime. Eugene knows some basic commands which include sit, shake, fetch, and come. He is completely crate trained and was noted as being housebroken. Eugene loves to play fetch and toss around squeaky toys in the play yard so a moderately active family would be beneficial. He also LOVES the water, whether its coming from a hose or sitting in his water bowl. He'd play in the hose all day if possible, so it's a good thing we have doggy pools because I would not want to see that water bill! Eugene sometimes under-estimates his size and plays rough so he would be better suited for a home with a playful female companion around his own size and no children. Being the only spoiled boy would be great too, his only demand...that the toys be up his standard!
Eugene was in foster with two teens and no issues presented. He is now back at the shelter waiting for a permenant home!
