Hi! My name is Zeus. Boy, do I need a home. In fact, I need a foster care home now, as soon as possible. The Rescue can't rescue me until they find someone to take care of me while we look for my forever home. I'm a really nice dog. Just meet me and you'll see. I'm good with people and dogs, and I don't mind cats at all. I'm a wiggle-butt. That means my whole body wags when I'm happy or excited, not just my tail. I am a happy boy because someone is trying to help me. All I want is a family. Someone to cuddle with, play with, take walks with - some toys and a warm bed - that's all I want. I enjoy having my back scratched and being petted. Attention and companionship are the best things ever. I'm a people pleaser and pretty mellow really. I have a laid back attitude. Probably cause I don't expect much. I just want to be loved. If you can foster me, the Rescue will give you all the supplies we need. If you want to give me a chance as your forever dog, please apply today. Adoption fee: $75 and includes testing, vaccines, neuter and microchip.
Apply today or come meet Zeus at our adoption events on Saturdays, April 9th and April 30th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Petco, 2129 South Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302. Event includes Scentsy sale and supply and fund drive to benefit the homeless animals of Paws for Life. Dogs, cats, puppies and kittens available for adoption.

Adoption Process:
Complete the application at the link above or send an email to info@pawsforliferescue.org to tell us which pet you're interested in and we'll send you a questionnaire that will help us make the best match for you and your new pet. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. This is a pending period to give your dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
