Here's what the humans have to say about me:

AYE, MY NAME IS BROGAN. For ye see, I am verra, verra Irish. Aye, me Irish Wolfhound heritage makes verra, verra special. I am a loovely boy, that I am. Ye should hear me sing ‘When Irish Eyes Are Smilin’”! I am a most unusual Irish Wolfhound mix (only about 45 pounds) because me favorite poet is Dylan Thomas, wouldn’t ye know? And, of course, Robert Burns.

Ye see, I am educated, despite being found at the pound, for ye see, I FOUND my way to the pound. Now that takes a crafty and verra smart Irishman, yes indeed. For ye see, I knew where to go to find help, and so I did. And here I am. My Ahimsa Angel Mom says I am verra, verra sweet—aren’t most Irishmen….she forgot to say charmin’ as well.

I wrote this right before I was goin’ to be what they called ‘fixed.” Humph! What a euphemism! (We Irish have a way with the word and are verra verra literate, but I was showin’ off by usin’ “euphemism…..)

So even if you are a Scot, or a Brit, or from Texas or Vermont, for that matter, I need a good home. I hope you will like music and poetry—that would be a bonus. But if you are just a down to earth type, I would go for that, too. I am a mighty fine and good boy, I promise….and you canna always believe an Irishman! So please, come soon. And my beautiful Irish eyes will be ‘smilin.’” Brogan
