Jeni is a gorgeous long-haired sheltie/golden mix, who was surrendered due to a death in the family. Jeni is still understandably a little nervous in her foster home, but she is warming up quickly.
Jeni is about 3 years old, and medium sized (she only comes up to her foster mom's knee). She is a little overweight at 40 pounds, but since she absolutely adores going for walks she will lose those extra pounds in no time at all. Jeni also loves playing with tennis balls and will happily drop a wet ball in your lap and wait for you to throw it. She is a very quiet and gentle girl, and we think she would do best in a home with older children or adults only. Jeni gets along just fine with other dogs, and would fit right in with other canines, but she seems to enjoy just hanging out next to her foster "siblings" rather than enticing them to play. She is fine with cats and and her laid back personality would fit in well with most any situation.
Jeni is spayed, up to date on all her shots, micro-chipped, and completely house-trained. She is perfectly behaved and has the run of the house while her foster family is at work. If you love the sweet and sensitive type of dog, Jeni would welcome the opportunity to meet you!
