My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Posted March 25th. Meet Cocoa, the cuttest little 9 week old pup weight about 6 pounds. Based on her current weight, we think she will grow to be around 30 pounds, but please note that size at maturity are only guesses. This adorable pup is a little bundle of sweetness and joy. She is currently being fostered in a Bolingbrook home with her littermate Dee Dee and the resident cats. The home that she came from had small children, and thus for most of her life she has been around younger children and is wonderful with them.

This is what the foster mom says about Cocoa..."Cocoa is a very happy puppy, with a very outgoing personality. She loves to have all the attention. She found a pacifier of my nephews under the couch, and has made it her favorite toy ever since. She also loves to play outside. I think Coco will take on the poodle look due to her height and the few curls on her back.

Cocoa was an owner surrender from an accidental littler. Mom is a purebreed Beagle and we were told dad lived next door and is a purebreed Poodle. We don't know if these pups are going to be non-shedders or hypo-allergenic, but they certainly look like they are going to be cutties.

The adoption fee of $300.00, includes her spaying (done when age appropriate, but paid for by Angels On Wheels), microchip, up to date on routine vaccinations, dewormed with Panacur, treated with revolution for the prevention of fleas, mites and heartworm, vet checked, along with a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic, Yorkville Animal Hospital or Wheaton Animal Hospital.

The adoption also comes with a free puppy class through Flydogs located at Central Bark Doggie Daycare in Oswego, which introduces you to housebreaking, name recogition, crate training, sit/stay and leash walking. You will also receive a coupon booklet from Petco, which includes 50% off your first bag of food amongst other numerous coupons.

If you would like to meet this very cute puppy, please go to the angelsonwheelsanimalrescue.com website to download an adoption application. Please be sure your application is complete. Uncompleted applications will not be contacted.

Please note that we are a foster based rescue and do not have a facility, which means all of our animals are cared for in homes of wonderful people who have volunteered their time to help save these animals and provide a home environment while they are waiting for their forever home.

Thank you for looking at our rescued animals and wanting to give them a wonderful home.
