My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi – My name is Ginger, one of the Fab Family 5 (that is, there are 5 of us canines in one rescuer's household looking for new forever families.) I’m the snuggle bunny who likes to curl up next to you at night. And I love, love, love to give doggie kisses.

My photographer says I’m very photogenic. I don’t know but people think I’m a real Cutie-Patootie. My Dad says I sit just like a human & fall into his arms like a baby.

I’m a long haired dachshund mix. Because I have a long, flowing upright beautiful tail, I might be mixed with Sheltie or Golden. I weigh a tiny 17.3 pounds. I was rescued so really don’t know how old I am. Best guess is somewhere between 4 and 6 years old.

I’m leash trained, house-trained, and know some commands like sit, stay. I’m well behaved. I have experience with children aged 4 to 16 and like them very much. I am spayed and UTD on shots.
