My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sturgis is 3 years old and weighs 26 lbs. He has a solid muscular build and a very cool camouflage coat like a catahoula. He is fun and feisty and is a very friendly. Sturgis walks well on lead and absolutely loves to ride in the car. He is smart and attentive and eager to please. He enjoys playing with other dogs but does not like cats. Sturgis was selected from a nearby county shelter to participate in a vet tech school program. The students in the vet tech school learn how to draw blood and give shots among other things. Sturgis was a very agreeable patient and won over all of the students. The policy at this particular vet tech school is that the dogs they use in class go back to the shelter and if not adopted quickly they get put on the euthanasia list. The students put a special plea out to rescue groups to save Sturgis before his time was up. We had room so this great little guy came to Cedar Farm. We are sure lucky to have him and Sturgis is sure to make his forever family feel very lucky too! Sturgis is neutered and up to date on all of his shots. He is crate-trained and housebroken. He is heartworm negative and on monthly preventatives for heartworms, fleas and ticks. He is microchipped.
