Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bronson is a cool guy...we're not sure what breeds are responsible for his size and color; we suspect a possible Newf/Lab or Great Pyr/Lab. He is mostly black, with a white chest and some white markings. He stands about 17 inches at the shoulder, is about 26/27 inches long and weighs about 17 pounds. The vet estimates him to be about 3 months old, as of 3/11, judging by tooth development.
He is one of 5 surviving puppies that were dumped on the side of several highways in central rural Kentucky. Bron is long legged and slightly lighter in build than his sibling, but only slightly....he is a big puppy. His head is a bit blockier and his ears a bit shorter...they've actually started to prick up a tiny bit in the middle. He has a medium weight coat, with slight feathering. He loves to be brushed and petted, and is starting to give me his paw to shake when we sit down together at night to chat about his day.
He has the most laid back personality and he does go on puppy pee pads when he can't get to the yard, and doesn't jump on me at all. He's a good all around little fellow. Alert, not jumpy or high strung, getting stronger (and taller) every week; he isn't destructive as far as I can tell, even when left alone all day if I am running around town....he is a big puppy, so as far as cats or anything, you'd just have to be aware of his size, but not forget his age...he's very young.
He will be great with anyone, or any family...he's not as energetic as his siblings, and despite his large size, he would be a good companion even with very small children, as he just doesn't jump, nip, or get in your face...he's easy to handle and easy to be around....but he needs his own family to bond with and take care of and love...he's worth it, believe me.
