My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This sweet Pit Bull mix was found tied to the fence at a local animal shelter. The shelter workers knew they were overwhelmed, so they contacted Orange County Pit Bull Rescue. At only less than a year old, she had quite a rough start. Aspen was very scared after her ordeal, and needed a loving foster home to feel safe again. She has been working on building up her confidence when experiencing new situations. One thing Aspen absolutely loves? Other dogs! Having other dogs in her life has allowed Aspen to feel like a real dog, and join in on new and fun situations. She also loves to play with her foster parents, and will throw a toy straight up in the air and try to catch it! She is currently learning what cats are, and finds them quite interesting so far. Aspen is enjoying her life once again, and will become a wonderful companion to anyone. She was found to have knee problems in both legs that will require surgery. Once all fixed up, this great girl will have her chance at a long, happy life!
