My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Krinkles is a shy, three-year-old, 65-pound, male, Shar Pei/Bloodhound-mix looking for a loving home. Krinkles was severely neglected and kept in a basement with numerous other dogs who beat him up. He landed at Chicago Animal Control with physical and emotional scars. He was in a cage at the shelter for two years pending the outcome of a court case. When he was ready to be released, Krinkles went to a foster home for Underdog Rescue where he has blossomed from an emaciated 35 pounds to his proper weight of 65 pounds. He is learning to play with other dogs and welcomes affection. He especially likes ladies of all species – human and canine. Krinkles is housebroken and crate-trained, and doesn’t know any formal commands yet. He loves romping in the snow and appreciates tranquility. He would not make a good city dog if he had to walk on busy city streets. Krinkles’ adoption fee of $300 benefits the rescued dogs of Underdog Rescue.
