The people who acquired this little man decided they didn't have the energy or care to house break him, so naturally they brought him to the animal shelter. Thankfully he has a potential happy ending. Maurice LOVES to play with other dogs, he's quite the rambunctious little character. He enjoys sleeping in bed with his foster mom and the other dogs. He is just a darling little guy. AND-- he loves to perch on shoulders! :)

His adoption fee of $400 includes his neuter surgery, full vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and 30 days of pet insurance. All of our dogs are rescued from the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter, which is a high volume, high kill facility. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where it is kept for a minimum of 2 weeks for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. After the 2 week quarantine time they are spayed/neutered and fully vetted. They are then placed on the website. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested in it, we make arrangements with the waiting foster to pick the animal up from the airport to then meet with the potential adopter.
