1/15- UPDATE ON EMMITT: Once Emmitt and his siblings were delivered C-section his mother would no longer feed or take care of him. He was then hand raised and bottle fed with a foster family where he still resides. His siblings have been adopted and now Emmitt still seeks his forever home. Not being adopted is certainly not his fault. He's the most handsome of the group and in the time at his foster home he has become the perfect gentleman. He's housetrained, great with his cat friends, all dogs, people and children. He's calm and extremely sweet. His favorite place is cuddled up next to you. Emmitt will be approximately 35lbs as an adult and is currently almost 6months old. Momma is most likely all Rat Terrier and rescue thinks daddy was a boxer/lab mix. We will be medium dogs as adults, probably 35 lbs or so.
Here is what our foster mom says: "When we got the babies at 3 days old, they were no larger than rats. Sleeping on a heating pad we bottle fed them every three hours. At 2 weeks old they had their first trip to the beach and stayed in a drawer. At 4 weeks they opened their eyes and saw their 'mommy and daddy' for the first time. They love people and being snuggled and played with. They play hard with the 4 month old foster in the house even though he is 10 times their size and can fit each of their heads in his mouth. They don't back down or run and hide. Their second favorite playmates are the 2 kittens in the house. Eurkel even rolls around with them, literally over one another. They are great with kids and wish to be friends with all the big dogs in the house.
Although as babies they were difficult to tell apart, As they have grown up each has a personality and adorable look all their own. Sleep all night in their crate, playful, precious.
Emmitt
Grown into a handsome young pup with golden coloring and a face that makes you melt. Loves to play and is fiesty, but sweet as can be. A tough little guy.
My adoption fee is $425 and covers my neuter, vaccines to date (and rabies) microchip, deworming, health certificate and transport fee. Please contact my foster mom at 205-401-0212 to talk more about me.
