My story

Brownie is in SC at a temperary home. This is his story:

" I just brought Brownie home from the vet and was able to get more info on him. After giving him a more thorough exam, the vet now estimates his age between 1-2 years. He showed up at a man's house in Mountain Rest, SC on Oct. 11. He had a collar, but no tags or ID. After searching for the owner in the Mtn. Rest area, the man brought Brownie to the Walhalla Vet. Clinic in West Union, SC on Oct 25. Walhalla Vet showed Brownie to me because they thought he was a Leonberger and I have 2 Leos. He definitely has Leonberger in him, although I doubt he is full Leo due to his size; he may have some lab in him, not sure. He weighs 60 lbs and is the size of a small golden retriever. Energy level is hard to determine right now. He was excited to "meet and greet" my dogs, but I can't let them romp and play due to his stitches from being neutered yesterday. He wants to play with my dogs; seems to be perfectly comfortable being around them, and they are big (130 lbs ). He was quiet in the car on the way home, very loving, has not barked once since bringing him home."
