Birdie is a fun loving, playful golden retriever mixed with Wheaten Terrier. She’s 2 years old and weighs 53 lbs. She has beautiful eyes and an open, friendly face. One look at her and you will melt!

She is playful, sweet and full of energy, but will calm down quickly and will lie down and take a nap. Birdie is house trained and will ring a bell at the door when she needs to go out. She loves to chew on bones/toys and will play fetch with a tennis ball. She lives in a house with 3 cats and will play with them when they’re not ignoring her! Birdie loves to take walks, riding in the car and likes the dog park. She will play with other dogs/cats but is comfortable just hanging out with her person(s). She’s found her inner “retriever” and discovered that she likes to swim!! She sleeps in her crate or on the floor and if you’re not looking, she might curl up in your favorite chair.

Birdie responds to the commands “sit” and “down”. She knows “stay”, but doesn’t always get that one right…! Birdie’s fur will grow long and it’s best if she is groomed about every 2 months. She will be loyal, fun companion for an individual or a family.
