My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I’m a fun-loving, happy-all-the-time, glass-is-half-full kind of dog looking for someone who loves to laugh and play around. Must have a great sense of humor and some time to spend with me. I’m a dog on a mission to please you. What a terrific combination for a little dog! Well, this is the closest breed we can come up with, this is one unique little fella! Squeak-so named from his tiny little noises-is an adorable little guy. Like a terrier he is a rough and tumble little guy, quite mischievous, loves his toys and a good game of fetch. And-like the Italian Greyhound he has huge spurts of energy and loves to run like the wind when he gets outside, he does sprints around the yard carrying his favorite ball. Squeak loves all the other dogs, adores people, and besides running and playing, his favorite activity is being held and snuggled. We are working on putting a little meat on this guys bones, he was quite thin when he came to us. He had been at a large shelter where he was treated for a bout of kennel cough. Now he has rebounded and has a great appetite, for food, and his new life! Squeak is a very petite guy, he is about 7 pounds, more legs than brawn, so a family with small or boisterous kids would not be the best for the Squeak Man. He is only about 7 months old, but does excellent in the house, is quite a gentleman. He will need a home with plenty of time to devote to him and his energy level, a bored terrier is a....hmmm....force to be reckoned with. No-he has not destroyed anything at his foster home, but he has lots of company, things to do and plenty of outdoor time. His adoption fee is $250, please call Kristine, 630-553-7553, or email joysparrows@gmail.com---thanks!!
