This girl is in a New England home and would love to meet you! Sascha is a 11 month old Australian Cattle / Blue Heeler and maybe even a little Whippet mixed in. She’s approximately 35 pounds now and will probably be another 5-10 pounds on top of that when she’s done growing. She is a beautiful brindle color. She loves to play fetch with her toy fox, go for long walks through the parks, she’s good with other dogs of similar size but can be bossy with smaller ones (not aggressive but her herding instinct takes over) but I wouldn’t recommend cats if possible. Her curiosity gets the best of her and the cat lets her know. She is great with bigger kids – a little too much excitement for the smaller ones. She loves the water – especially our pool as you can see in one of the pictures. Sascha is totally house trained and crate trained and would recommend using the crate until fully out of her “puppy” stage. She knows the basic commands such as sit, lay down, stay, paw and come. She is a very healthy puppy. She is all up to date on her shots, heartworm meds and we’ve been using Advantage for her flea and tick treatments and she is spayed.
Sascha needs to be with a family that has lots of room to roam and run. Crating is good but should only be for a short time, otherwise she’ll let you know when she’s taken out. She needs to be extremely active for her type dog. Overall she is a wonderful dog that does what she can to make people happy. She’ll prove it to you with her kisses and that tail wag. She is and will be very loyal to her next owners. She will take care of them and be a very good dog as long as she has the proper surroundings.
