Ricky is a Chocolate Labrador Retriever/English Springer Spaniel Mix. He is Chocolate Brown and White. Ricky is 9 Months Old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 40 lbs.
Ricky is a sweet and calm beautiful boy! Ricky was found wandering alone and was picked up by a rural high kill pound. We brought him here and he has been loving all the love and attention he's been getting. For being young Ricky is a calmer boy who just loves to give kisses and cuddle. when he's outside he loves to go exploring with you and sniffing everything around him. Since he's so great on the leash he would be the perfect walking companion for anyone. He hasn't gotten the concept of fetch yet but does love to see you throw the ball and go pick it up yourself. He spends most of his time either right beside you or lounging on his dog bed. When other dogs are around he'll play with them for awhile and then go off to see what your doing. He loves being around people of all ages and is always wagging his tail! Ricky has just begun living his life and we want him to find a forever home he deserves! He's such a happy-go-lucky boy and anyone would be lucky to have him in their lives.
Ricky would do well in any household. He loves adults, kids and other dogs. Ricky is already crate trained and already housetrained. He might need one to two weeks to re adjust to his new families schedule but he's a quick learner! He is great on the leash and loves to sniff around the yard and find new and exciting things to sniff. He adores riding in the car with you and usually will sit right next to you or look out the window. Once in awhile while traveling he'll lean over and give you a kiss on the hand to let you know he's still there. He's a very gentle and sweet boy and has the perfect personality for someone who wants to add a calm young boy to their home.
Ricky is not aggressive with other dogs, he has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
There is a $100 Adoption Fee for all dogs. Which includes the Spay/Neuter, Parvo/Distemper Combo Shot, Rabies Shot, Worming, Heartworm Tested Negative if over 6 months and Flea/Tick Prevention.
